This poor mature flying fox hit two power lines at once and fried, one of it’s claws catching on a cable as it fell, leaving it hanging in the breeze like a zapped Batman.

Bottled some Militsa Organic Olive Oil for an order from Richmond Hill Cafe and Larder today. At this rate we’ll have to print another (redesigned?) batch of labels soon.

Evan and I prepared the bed for the rest of the brick path in the back garden at Richards st. With nore of the massive tree stump an roots, it was quite a task – laying the bricks themselves will be a speedy pleasure.

I did my back filling Malo’s sandpit, but fortunately I recovered about 80% of the way within a couple of days. But it was worth it – he loves it, and it keeps him very occupied, making life easier for Yiayia, who’s size he is fast approaching.

We started paving the back yard path at Evan’s place today with old bricks, after removing a very large tree stump. We’ll have to wait through a couple of days of rain to finish the job.
